Our Mountain Lion season begins on October 1st and runs through March 31st. The area we hunt consists of a large amount of National Forest, BLM, and bordering wilderness areas. This allows us a hunt able population of trophy class lions year after year. We have one of the best packs of proven lion dogs in the southwest. After the dogs have treed the lion, we will find the closest route possible from our vehicle to the treed lion. We will then walk to the treed lion so that we do not startle him. Once we arrive to the treed lion, this will give us the opportunity to judge the sex and trophy Tom on a 5 day hunt is 85%. Our guarantee lion hunt that we offer is 100% success. On this hunt we will continue to hunt, until you have harvested a lion. On both hunts offered, our services include lodging, meals, game preparation, and 1 on 1 guide.

Mountain Lion hunting is one of our personal favorites and once you hunt and catch one of these ghosts, you may feel the same. We maintain a 100% success on our 5-day hunts. It is hard to compare the chase of a Mountain Lion to any other hunt. The weather is usually cold and snowy. the hounds are anxious and ready for a chase. We locate a track, release the hounds and the chase is on! As you follow the dogs through the scenic terrain, you will hear the different barking and baying sounds echo through the canyons. This "Complete Outdoor Experience" is one that will never fade from your memory. Come prepared for a hunt that can be as strenuous as it is exciting. The hunt includes: license, guides, hounds and transportation and daily lunch during the hunt. Meals and lodging are arranged at a local hotel casino at the hunters expense. You can combine this hunt with a late season Elk, Buffalo or Oryx hunt.

All of our hunting is conducted on well-managed, private property where we have exclusive hunting rights. By utilizing our system of pre-planned hunts on these ranches, it is unlikely that you will encounter other hunters while in the field. We limit the number of hunters in the field at all times.

Our well trained hounds have experience hunting in unit 55, 53 and 54 for trophy toms. Mt. Lion’s have a huge territory and access to public and private lands in these units is required for a successfully hunt. Hunting season is broad and expands from April to March of the subsequent year. Hunters must be able to be called at a moments notice given the weather and snow is prevalent to begin a successful hunting opportunity. Our excellent hounds’ men will search and located fresh tracks preferably in the snow and once located, the hunt begins with the release of the lead hounds. This is a physical hunt that requires chasing after the hounds and quarry on foot mostly, though we have used snow machines as well. Once the lion is bayed, foretold by the yelping hounds hunter and guide race to the location for a clean harvest. Lion can be harvested with rifle, muzzleloader or archery equipment. This is an exciting hunt conducted in the deep enchantment of winter snow. The cat will take the hunter and his team through some of the most amazing of God’s country.
